Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire


£45-£55,000 depending on experience

Cost Code: GHL1

We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join the Life Property Construction team, responsible for all aspects of site operations from start to completion and aftercare.


Life Property Construction Ltd are a specialist care provider working on projects across Lincolnshire and the wider area; providing modern, luxury care homes, built within the clients specification and needs.


The Site Manager will have overall responsibility for the site and will liaise closely with the Construction Director and Construction Managers to deliver the highest quality work.


The Site Manager will over-see all areas of the build from setting out (including roads and sewers), infrastructure works, groundwork, construction through to completion and handover. They must also organise and prioritise the work of the site team, control and co-ordinate the attendance and number of subcontractors on site, resolve queries, problems and conflicts at site level and hold regular site meetings with subcontractors to monitor and appraise key company objectives.


Main responsibilities and roles include:

  • Supervising both directly employed site staff and subcontractors
  • Planning and programming all site activities and ensuring handover deadlines are met
  • Attending progress meetings and providing regular updates
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high quality, in accordance with client requirements and specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s high safety standards and maintaining relevant health and safety records
  • Good record keeping



Essential requirements

  • Previous site management experience, particularly in the Care industry
  • Good communication skills – looking after clients and our supply chain
  • Current qualifications such as SMSTS, First Aid etc
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to plan all aspects of construction operations
